Domaille Engineering has a complete staff of manufacturing experts to aid customers with producibility engineering and analysis. Producibility Engineering is optimally done early on in the design phase before cost variables are established.

The producibility engineering analysis includes maximizing the simplicity of the design, process repeatability and predictability, ease and speed of assembly, and the use of standard parts, proven technology, economical materials, and CAD/CAM capabilities. Issues minimized by producibility include leadtimes; special production tooling and test systems; part count reduction; design changes during production; removal of excess material; specification of unrealistic tolerances; and the use of critical materials and processes, unit costs, limited capability items and processes, and proprietary items.

Domaille also performs risk analysis and works to mitigate risk, evaluates availability of critical materials/processes; reviews component leadtimes and available substitutes; determines the need for limited production; prepares cost estimates and conducts production readiness reviews.
