Rochester, MN, January 2, 2013– Tim Kanne has joined the Domaille Engineering team as the new Vice President of Operations for the Rochester, MN plant. Prior to taking on this role, Mr. Kanne served as Sr. Program Manager for Remmele Engineering in Big Lake, MN where he managed new business capture and technology development efforts for key customer accounts in the Aerospace and Defense division.

This video was produced to show how the AbraSave™ technology shortens polishing time and dramatically reduces the amount of abrasive film needed to polish fiber optic connectors. Current optical fiber polishing fixture designs place all the optical fibers on same diametrical path during the polishing process. This repetitive path causes premature wear of the abrasive film.

Domaille Engineering is proud to announce our new EZ-Check Precision Wear Gage kit. This kit is used to measure specific interfaces between the Domaille Engineering Optical Fiber Polishing Machine, fixture and fiber optic ferrules.

Kit includes easy to use gages for measuring machine mandrel wear, Go and NO GO gages for fixture mounting holes and 1.25mm & 2.5mm ferrule holes.

This gage kit is a vital part of Domaille Engineering’s maintenance plan.

(Rochester MN) – Domaille Engineering LLC is proud to add another testimonial of our services.

I commissioned Domaille Engineering to design and fabricate a fixture for my laser interferometer that was obsolete and not procurable. They produced a fixture that surpassed the OEM design in functionality and workmanship by a large margin. The unique “cam lock” feature makes precise ferrule end face measurements more repeatable, and the craftsmanship was very impressive. Thank you.
